June brought a big turnout and one soggy surprise to Clermont RC Complex. Racers from Clermont, Minneola, and Groveland packed the pits on June 20th for another Saturday of club racing at our home track — here's how it went.

- Track conditions: dialed in for most of the day until an afternoon downpour cut racing short

Highlight of the Month: Rain Stopped Play
Just as the racing was heating up, an afternoon downpour rolled in and called an early end to the day. Big Lez, Dean, and Wayne had already put in the work to lock down the podium, so the trophies still went out — but plenty of racers are already looking forward to a full, dry session next time out. It's the kind of curveball that comes with outdoor racing in Central Florida, and it didn't dampen the spirit in the pits one bit.
